Hiking Dalmatia’s Roman Roads

Hiking ancient roads through the beautiful countryside of Cetinska Krajina, visiting archaeological sites and ethnographic museums. Tasting ancient Roman specialties and traditional dishes of Dalmatia and its hinterland.

Dalmatia hinterland is a newly-discovered jewel for all adventurers and a great place for hiking. Its magnificent and diverse nature is criss-crossed with many ancient tracks and roads passing by important archaeological remainsfrom Dalmatia’s turbulent past, beautiful vistas of rivers, sea and islands and local restaurants with long-tradition offering dishes unchanged for centuries.

All of these roads were once made to lead to Rome, but they will lead you into an active adventure that will leave you breathless… sometimes from physical efforts, but mostly from the awe.
