Scenic boat trip

Savor the diverse scenic beauties of the Cetina canyon by taking a relaxed upstream boat ride from Omiš to Radmanove mlinice or Kaštil Slanica, with the option of enjoying local specialties for lunch. It is also a great opportunity for taking great photos.

The protected nature of the magnificent Cetina canyon is abundant with diverse flora and fauna, making it a total opposite to the urban asphalt. While many locations in the canyon are popular destinations for various adrenalin-rising activities, the navigable section of the river is very quiet – a perfect place for a relaxed getaway from busy everyday life.

For experiencing a direct contact with nature, take a relaxing scenic boat ride from Omiš to Radmanove mlinice or Kaštil Slanica. Find your peace in the rhythmic thumping of waves, traveling upstream in the shade of cragged mountains and century-old trees, listening to the rustling of endless reed. Rest your eyes watching the beautiful crystal-clear water – a home to numerous fish, coots and wild ducks. Make sure to make some photos or video footage now and then; while you will certainly remember this experience, your less fortunate friends will have to depend on them before they see it for themselves.

The boat ride in one direction takes around 45 minutes. The program includes:

  • A 6-kilometer boat ride up the River Cetina, from Omiš to Radmanove mlinice or Kaštil Slanica.
  • Expert guide during the boat ride can be arranged.
  • A traditional lunch – local specialties in one of the restaurants – can be included in the program.
  • A boat ride back to Omiš can also be arranged.
