OMNIVIA at ISO 9001:2015 certificate awarding ceremony

Having renewed the quality management system certificate and moving to ISO 9001:2015 in April 2017, OMNIVIA has remained on the list of only forty tourist agencies – members of UHPA which have proven their dedication to providing high quality services and constant improvement. The new ISO certificate awarding ceremony took place on 15 December 2017 and the certificates were presented to the representatives of the agencies by Minister of Tourism Gari Cappelli.

ISO 9001 is an international standard specifying the requirements for the quality management system. It is based on a series of principles, including a strong focus on clients, motivation and top management implication, a process approach and continued improvements. ISO 9001 was first published in 1987 by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), an international agency composed of the national standards bodies of more than 160 countries. The current version of ISO 9001 was released in September 2015. Organizations certified to the ISO 9001:2008 standard had a three-year period to transition to ISO 9001:2015 and maintain quality confirmation, which OMNIVIA did.

Business in accordance with ISO 9001:2015 certificate helps ensure consistent, high-quality products and services, offering many business advantages in return: credibility and competitiveness, increased client satisfaction and loyalty and improved communications and planning. OMNIVIA’s transition to ISO 9001: 2015 is yet another confirmation of the agency’s dedication to provide the highest-quality services in the multi-layered destination offer of Omiš and Dalmatia.
